Game Development Mentorship Program
Build your skills in blockchain gaming and NFT integration through hands-on projects with experienced developers who've shipped real products to market.
Apply for October 2025 CohortWhat You'll Actually Learn
Real Project Experience
Forget theoretical exercises. You'll work on actual marketplace features that we're building for clients — things like auction systems, rarity algorithms, and user wallet integration. When Darren first pitched this program to me, I was skeptical about students working on live projects. But honestly? That's where the real learning happens.
Our last cohort helped build a trading card verification system that's now processing over 2,000 transactions monthly. Students see their code in production within months, not years.
We cap each group at 12 participants because meaningful mentorship requires actual conversations, not lecture halls. You'll have weekly one-on-ones with someone who's debugged smart contracts at 2 AM and knows what it feels like when your first marketplace goes live.
Six Month Learning Journey
Each phase builds practical skills through real client work and mentor guidance. No fluff, no promises about instant success — just steady progress toward becoming a developer who ships working products.
Months 1-2: Foundation Building
Smart contract basics, wallet integration, and understanding how NFT metadata actually works. You'll deploy your first contract to testnet and probably break things — that's normal.
Months 3-4: Marketplace Mechanics
Building trading systems, implementing royalty structures, and creating user interfaces that don't confuse regular people. This is where it gets interesting.
Real Learning
Months 5-6: Advanced Features
Performance optimization, security auditing, and handling the weird edge cases that only emerge when real users start clicking buttons. Plus building your own portfolio project.
Post-Program Support
Six months of office hours and project feedback. Because learning doesn't stop when the formal program ends, and sometimes you need someone to review your code before shipping.
Meet Your Mentors

Crispin Martinez
Senior Blockchain Developer
Eight years building trading platforms, including three NFT marketplaces that are still running today. Crispin has the patience to explain gas optimization at least five times and genuinely enjoys debugging other people's smart contracts. Previously led development at two Malaysian fintech startups.

Theodora Kim
Game Systems Architect
Former mobile game designer who shifted into blockchain gaming when she realized the technology could solve actual problems. Theodora specializes in making complex systems feel intuitive to end users — a rare skill that makes her mentorship incredibly valuable for aspiring developers.

Rafael Chen
Platform Integration Lead
Specializes in connecting blockchain backends with user-friendly frontends. Rafael has integrated over 30 different wallet providers and knows which ones actually work reliably. He'll teach you how to build systems that regular people can use without reading documentation first.
